Mellow Yellow Monday: The Show Off Tree

I love this tree, she is so boldly different from the crowd she hangs with.

The fall color has been fleeting here. Due to warm weather and lots of rain the green stayed longer. Then sudden cold turned the leaves but more rain accompanied by high winds took the leaves away too soon.

Made this tree all the more special.

I love fall colors! We are lucky that they hang around for a quick a while, at least a month! This year seems even longer because we did not have rain so the leaves are not falling all that fast!

So bright and full of color!

It has been a very odd fall here too ... warmer in NOV than OCT so far. In fact, we had snow on the ground Oct 14!

beautiful gold colour. Is this the only tree that is yellow? I have a couple of trees which turn yellow in Fall.

This is a lovely shot!

Our yellows have been beautiful this year. Perhaps they are standing out more because the reds and oranges have been so mild.

Not easy being different. Admire its individuality.

Hi Dianne!

I love it when trees change at different rates than their neighbors! It always looks so stark and flashy.

Great shot - thank you for sharing! :o)

Beautiful vista ;-)
You've got more Fall color where you live than here, but I'm sorry to learn the weather is causing the colors to be so fleeting! Thanks for sharing and for your visit to Small Reflections. Hope you're having a MARVELOUS Monday!
Hugs and blessings,

Well that tree certainly does stand out. Our colors have been muted this year as well.

I love yellow leaves. It's much the same here this fall. Makes the yellow leafed trees really stand out.
Very nice Mellow Yellow photo!

Beautiful scene! I always feel sad to see the colors fade away or blow away whatever the case might be! I like the fence and the contrast it adds to the photo!
