This woman was enjoying the beach on Sunday.

These shots were taken from the boardwalk section of a nature trail that runs along Raritan Bay in Monmouth County, NJ.

I love the beach when it's not June, July or August!

Cool capture of red, just enough for Ruby Tuesday.

Ah, to sit on the beautiful Jersey shore, ocean or bay. To sit in any season, under the oceanic sky with the briny breezes wafting over you. I can almost feel the senses come alive at the beach!

This looks lovely. Send me directions; maybe I'll go, too! She looks so relaxed in that chair.

I wonder what all the paperwork is - school, business.... That lovely view and atmosphere would have my mind drifting from the task at hand.
Great ruby find!

I'm with the woman in the red chair - that's a perfect spot to just sit and contemplate.

Love the idea of having the beach to one's self. I could really enjoy that.

I'd trade with the woman in red any day .... in November.
Such a simple, yet valuable to spend once spare time.

I was over at your other post.
What a little, cute beauty queen"
She was a happy girl and wore her oatmeal proudly."LOL

I have to comment on behalf of Maximus Spittimus as his paws can't handle the keypad...;-)

He has asked me to say "purrrrr...sphtttt" which I believe tranlsates to thanks for joining his blog....

As for myself I used to like beaches as a kid. Riding donkeys on Blackpool Beach was a highlight of any kids holiday from the North of England...

All the best

for and on behalf of Maximus Spittimus

I love those kind of moment to be alone and just with the sound of the waves and chirping of the birds makes it very awesome day for me. Like the splash of color there. Thanks for sharing the photo. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Hi Dianne! You know... this could be me! I'm often found on a beach (usually at a lake) alone, in my red lawn chair. There's usually a yellow dog either at my feet or in the water though. Great shot, it brought back many wonderful memories for me!

These are Wonderful! I love how you used the rule of thirds in both shots, it makes it very pleasing to the eye. And oh how that red just pops against that gorgeous blue background!
Thanks for visiting my RT yesterday! And my picture was a frozen pizza. Thanks so much for playing!
