It's very hard work if they're farming traditionally. I wonder if the lady crocheting is making a shawl or a baby blanket. It looks almost finished.
Nothing beats the sky in the country. What a great place.
Dianne these last few posts are a wonderful photo essay of life on the farm. The sky in this last shot is beautiful. The scene is quite tranquil as well.I enjoyed the story of the little boy and the 'white flies' below. :)
Great photos of this farm, and its good that they are preserving the rural past. I live in farming country that looks very much like your last shot. Nice series, and I enjoyed the previous post also.
The first picture reminds me of my grandpa. He plowed with a team of mules! Great pics.
Wonderful post..full of character and charm! Love the photo with the two birds flying!
Wonderful stuff .. the last shot is soooooo good .. you should be framing it.
Lovely photos of the farm. Beautiful blues.Paz
Hi Diane ~~ Very nice pictures here of a pretty place. It looks like you saw everything at that farm. I scrolled down and peeked around. One thing I did notice is that there aren't any pictures of you and Hope (did she go with you?)Happy MW Blues and have a nice rest of the week! Tomorrow is Friday! :)..
It looks like such a hard life to me. But at least the farmers got plenty of fresh air and lots of exercise.
