Happy Blues At The Farm

More (see previous post) from my visit to LONGSTREET FARM

the people who work the farm are incredibly friendly ...

and sometimes they take a well deserved break ...

even the sky above the farm seems prettier and more open ...

It's very hard work if they're farming traditionally. I wonder if the lady crocheting is making a shawl or a baby blanket. It looks almost finished.

Nothing beats the sky in the country. What a great place.

Dianne these last few posts are a wonderful photo essay of life on the farm.
The sky in this last shot is beautiful. The scene is quite tranquil as well.
I enjoyed the story of the little boy and the 'white flies' below. :)

Great photos of this farm, and its good that they are preserving the rural past. I live in farming country that looks very much like your last shot. Nice series, and I enjoyed the previous post also.

The first picture reminds me of my grandpa. He plowed with a team of mules! Great pics.

Hi Diane ~~ Very nice pictures here of a pretty place. It looks like you saw everything at that farm. I scrolled down and peeked around.
One thing I did notice is that there aren't any pictures of you and Hope (did she go with you?)

Happy MW Blues and have a nice rest of the week! Tomorrow is Friday! :)

It looks like such a hard life to me. But at least the farmers got plenty of fresh air and lots of exercise.
