Time
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

The Chevrolet Bowtie
In 1913, William Durant introduced The Chevrolet Bowtie.
Legend has it that Durant copied the bowtie design from the wallpaper in a Paris Hotel.
I took this shot from a old Chevy Pick-up parked in front of me and then played with it a bit to clarify the lines and colors and wash out the truck panel

Fence as Canvas
Nature appears to have arranged a display of the seasonal stages of a tree.
She's a good artist.

Yo! Mouse
I was stuck in slow traffic behind a mini-van on a one lane road.
Virtually bumper to bumper, for miles and miles, this Mickey Mouse decal taunted me.
I added some grain and tint to the shot to compensate for how dirty the van window was.

You Lookin' At Me?
When I took this shot I was focused on the giant thingie they had in the back. It looked like it was trying to pry open the back door.
When I uploaded the shot I noticed the reflections of the sky had combined with the dirty window to create an interesting texture and the overhead wire reflections were a nice little touch as well.
I'm hoping you all see something more in the left side of the window. Don't know where it came from.

Waves of Sunrise
I was leaning out the kitchen window framing a shot of the sunrise when my cat Siren decided to rub against the camera.
His whiskers, my moving hand, and the sunrise behind a row of trees all combined.
Danielle at Unconventional Photography has started a new weekly photo thingie called Cool Clicks. She has a great blog full of wonderful shots, stop by.
