I'm combining CAMERA CRITTERS and SHADOW SHOTS this week.
These crows visit each day. They come as a group and work their way lawn to lawn ending at this house which sits at the end of the road.
They eat their fill and bask in the sun - as does this wonderful tree.

Crow are loud birds, but they are fun to watch. Beautiful pictures..I almost forgot what leaves on a tree look like..Happy SSS..
Great variety of long and short shadows. Especially loved the detail of the tree's shadow on the wall!
thats lovely how they stop by every day. i only ever see crows once in a while
What a magnificent tree, and it's nice to see the crows have somewhere so beautiful to dine each day.
Aren't crows fascinating? I think they're so smart. I also photographed crows this week. They are everywhere around here!
Great shadow of the tree on the house. I wonder of the crows even notice it. ;-)
I've always thought crows are creepy. I think it's something from childhood - maybe Hitchcock and the Birds. I have been trying to get a good pic of one though. :)
I love the shadow of the tree on the house! Enlarging the first one I thought the shadows of the bush on the left were pretty nifty too.
Your tree shadow shot looks amazing on the house! Happy SSS to you!
We get these big groups of crows in our yard sometimes, too.
I love to watch crows, they aren't liked much in the summer though around here, they peck holes in the watermelons and cantelopes...they git there butts shot too!
Have a great weekend!
sharon
Terrific pics! We get crows around here too, but I have not seen any around in a very long time.

We've got lots of crows at our home too but they are always high up on a tree or roof. Wonderful SSS :D
Makes me think of Alfred Hitchcock and "The Birds".
Great crow shadows! I like crows but they sure are noisy little critters! :)
Great photo. We do not have many crows any more.
Have a great week.
Love your shadow and critters shots!
Paz
What a pretty shadow that tree casts! The birds look pretty content to be in it's shadow too!
Those little guys just do make themselves at home, don't they? Love the shadows of the tree, really beautiful! Hope you're feeling better!

Lovely shots. I like crows, which is good because there are a lot of them around here. I'm feeling more hopeful about Spring because this week I've seen some other birds who have been scarce... blue jay and cardinal this morning and over the week a woodpecker and another little bird I can't name. Nice to see green. I'm so sick of snow.
Great shadows !
We have lots of crows where we live. They have learned to put a whole nut on the road for cars to run over the nut. Then the crow returns to pick up the cracked nut and eat what's inside.
wow that tree looks powerful, those crows are mad, they look like they are having a picnic on yur lawn!
I like crows.
Cool subject for ss

high desert - thanks :)
pagan - yes it was!! ;)
Nice shots. I love it how crows are always hanging out together, being noisy and watching out for each other.
So they are holding a meeting at your home every day ? that must be quite noisy !
Lots of lovely shadows in those shots:-)
I always thought crows somewhat ominous until someone told me that they are nature's garbage men...they take the "trash" of the land. Now I look at them more fondly. No doubt that's what these guys are doing!
The crows seem to be enjoying lunch and socializing under your tree. Nice photo.
Crows always work in flocks, amazing isn't it?! They can also work in couples for they are faithful to their partners. At least I was told so. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, the poop they could leave behind. *LOL*
Nice shots. :)
My CC
They must feel very relaxed and safe. Lovely shots.
Crows fascinate me, they are so intelligent. Great shadow shot, too.
Awesome. Love the bold tree shadow against the house.
Have a happy shadow finding week!
Birdies, birdies...I so love birdies!!!
Crows sometimes scary but they're really cute. Looks like someone is feeding the birds.
great photos, thanks for sharing!
Ohmygosh ... what a LOT of crows! We have some around here, but I seldom see more than 2-3 at a time. I like the way you combined these activities. I like multi-tasking myself.
Hugs and blessings,
I should imagine things get a bit noisy at your place. Love the tree shadow against the house, beautiful!
What a great way to combine Camera Critters with Shadow Shots! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos.
Great idea to combine the 2 memes - the bottom photo is fantastic due to the shadows you captured - that is, in my opinion ;)
It's interesting. You don't need to see any more of the actual tree, because the shadow tells so much.
I think this may be my 3rd time visiting your cc - I know I'll be coming back for more.
And thanks for dropping by my cc post for the week - it was good to see you again.
My yard is always full of them they sure are a noisy bunch when they visit.Good pictures and thanks for stopping by.
